Strategist, coach, and entrepreneur with nearly 30 years spent building and improving innovation teams across many fields. After an MBA in entrepreneurship and a specialization in innovation strategy at MIT, I built the expertise to support a wide range of clients. My aim is simple: help them succeed by adopting the right practices, so they innovate more and innovate better. I bring together the strongest strategic approaches to frame, structure, govern, and optimize innovation teams, and to create value quickly. I also serve innovative companies as an investor, board member, and coach.

People call me Doctor Joyce, but I think of myself as the Obelix of innovation: I fell into the consulting potion with my very first job. In 2008, as an innovation advisor at the Institut de développement de produits, I worked inside more than 80 Quebec companies. I went on to doctoral research on innovation through design thinking applied to sustainable business models. At DesjardinsLAB, I sharpened my facilitation, reaching 10,000 hours of creative workshops. Since 2020, I've worked as an innovation strategist: think-tank sessions with leadership, in-house design sprints, and co-creation with clients.

An innovation and business strategist. I draw on an MBA in marketing strategy and training in business coaching to help organizations clarify their choices, structure execution, and maximize the value they create. I've designed and deployed more than forty strategic and marketing plans, led transformations, and supported leaders across many settings: municipalities, nonprofits, private companies, and academic and entrepreneurial ecosystems. My aim is to turn ideas into concrete results, with authenticity, collaboration, enjoyment, and rigor.

A strategic leader and senior program director. For over 30 years I've guided complex organizations in finance, technology, and AI, not just designing high-value initiatives but getting them executed. As a mentor and mobilizer, I stay close to the action: I structure governance, rally stakeholders, and work through the risks and politics of large-scale programs. I teach at HEC Montréal, UQAM, and the Université de Sherbrooke. My approach combines strategic rigor, pragmatism, and human leadership.

For nearly 30 years, I've worked in digital, steering organizations around the globe through each new wave: the internet, mobile, then custom software. My path ran from more than a decade in consulting, much of it at Capgemini, through three years at Apple, to twelve years as VP of customer experience at Mirego. Along the way, I learned to read an organization before I read its technology: how it works, where it gets stuck, and how much change it can absorb. AI is my second playground, where I work as orchestrator, strategist, and educator to make it concrete and usable.

I have over ten years leading product, engineering, and research teams inside technology organizations of every size: Mouvement Desjardins, Element AI (one of the most ambitious AI startups in Montreal's history), and Airgraft (now a global company, shipping products in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom). Today, I turn advanced AI research into applied products, in service of Canada's innovation ecosystem.

An organizational transformation, change management and team-synergy specialist for over 16 years, I help public and private organizations across different sectors navigate structural, cultural, and technological change. I founded my own consultancy and hold a bachelor's in cultural studies, a master's in sociology, and certifications in change management, coaching, and Nova Global. My belief: change works when it's built with people, not imposed on them.

An expert in innovation and complex project management. I support organizations that put innovation to work for society, from the design of open-innovation programs to their implementation. I led the launch of the Canadian Space Agency's first innovation challenge within the federal government (Impact Canada). My international experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors reflects an ability to unite very different stakeholders around shared objectives (Desjardins Lab, nonprofit boards, public administrations).
